The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  East central Okaloosa County in northwestern Florida...

* Until 430 PM CDT.

* At 400 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 6 miles northeast of Destin, moving north at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  east central Okaloosa County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

* Tornado Warning for...
  West central Walton County in the Panhandle of Florida...

* Until 530 PM CDT.

* At 442 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Eglin Air Force Base, or 12 miles northeast of
  Niceville, moving north at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Eglin Air Force Base around 450 PM CDT.
  De Funiak Springs around 515 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include New
Home, Oakwood Hills, Pleasant Ridge, De Funiak Spring Airport, Alpine
Heights, and Mossy Head.
