...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 AM CDT
FOR CENTRAL PECOS...NORTHEASTERN BREWSTER AND NORTHWESTERN TERRELL
COUNTIES...

At 920 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles northwest of Fort Stockton to 42 miles
northwest of Sanderson to 25 miles east of Marathon, moving east at
30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Stockton, Fort Stockton-Pecos County Airport, Sierra Madera, and
Firestone Test Track.

This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 248 and 287.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

BREWSTER AND NORTHWESTERN TERRELL COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 945 AM
CDT...

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, gusty
winds and heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms.
