The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Eastern Woodbury County in west central Iowa...
  Northwestern Ida County in west central Iowa...

* Until 845 PM CDT.

* At 804 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located near Smithland, or
  20 miles west of Ida Grove, moving northeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

  SOURCE...Emergency management confirmed tornado.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

  Anthon around 810 PM CDT.
  Correctionville around 815 PM CDT.
  Cushing around 820 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Sioux Falls.
