...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 AM CDT FOR SOUTH
CENTRAL UVALDE AND NORTHWESTERN ZAVALA COUNTIES...

At 1249 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Washer, or 8 miles north of La Pryor, and is nearly
stationary.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
south central Uvalde and northwestern Zavala Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to an interior room of a sturdy building. Avoid 
windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, 
move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from 
flying debris.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR SOUTH CENTRAL UVALDE AND NORTHWESTERN
ZAVALA COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.  However heavy rain is
still possible with this thunderstorm.
