  Carteret County in eastern North Carolina...

* Until 200 AM EDT.

* At 117 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Broad Creek to near Hammocks Beach, moving east
  at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Public. Power outages reported in Peletier and Cape 
           Carteret with this storm.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Morehead City, Newport, Harkers Island, North River, Sealevel,
  Marshallberg, Davis, Smyrna, Straits, Atlantic, Pine Knoll Shores,
  Harlowe, Otway, Broad Creek, Wildwood, Williston, Open Grounds
  Farm, Stacy, Bettie, and Michael J Smith Airport.
