...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM MDT THIS 
EVENING FOR CENTRAL DONA ANA COUNTY...

At 629 PM MDT, Thunderstorms are slowly weakening just south of Las 
Cruces. The focus of heavy rainfall has shifted just south of 
Talavera. The area of greatest concern is the residential area off 
South Sonoma Ranch Boulevard, just upstream of Fillmore Dam.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of arroyos, urban areas, roads,
         underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying
         areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Far south end of Las Cruces and Talavera, including the Tierra 
  Escondida neighborhood, and areas near Thomas Moran Road.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

At 758 PM CDT, heavy rainfall has ended but some lingering areas of
flooding remain.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Tuscaloosa, Northport, Holt, University Mall, McFarland Mall,
  Bryant Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa Amphitheater, University Of
  Alabama Quad, Taylorville, Stillman College, Oliver Lock And Dam
  and Cottondale.
