...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN RACINE AND EASTERN KENOSHA COUNTIES...

At 1203 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Wind Point, or
near Racine, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Kenosha, Racine, Mount Pleasant, Pleasant Prairie, Sturtevant,
Winthrop Harbor, Wind Point, Caledonia, Bristol, Somers, Elmwood
Park, North Bay, and Franksville.

People attending The Wisconsin Womens Triathlon , and Bristol
Renaissance Faire  should seek safe shelter immediately!

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN RACINE AND
EASTERN KENOSHA COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 1215 PM CDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, heavy
rain is still occurring with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 PM CDT for
southeastern Wisconsin.
