...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 AM MDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN GARFIELD AND SOUTHEASTERN WAYNE COUNTIES...

At 736 AM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 15 miles north of
Hite Marina, or 22 miles southeast of Hanksville, moving northeast at
40 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind 
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Garfield and southeastern Wayne Counties.

This includes the following highways...
 Utah Route 95 between mile markers 9 and 31.
 Utah Route 276 between mile markers 0 and 3.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN GARFIELD AND
SOUTHEASTERN WAYNE COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 800 AM MDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However small
hail, gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with this
thunderstorm.
