...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM MST FOR
CENTRAL PINAL COUNTY...

At 1231 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles northeast
of Picacho Peak State Park, moving northwest at 5 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Mainly rural areas of Central Pinal County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
