...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 AM MST THIS
MORNING FOR MARICOPA COUNTY...

At 640 AM MST, gauge reports indicated thunderstorms produced heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 0.75 and 1.25 inches of rain
have fallen. This has resulted in flowing of washes and creeks within
the warned area causing flash flooding, particularly affecting low
water crossings. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.75 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Gauges reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         streets and low water crossings.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Phoenix, New River, Cave Creek, Carefree, Anthem and Seven Springs.

Gauges along Skunk Creek and Cave Creek are showing elevated flow,
likely impacting low water crossings.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
