...DANGEROUS ICE CONDITIONS POSSIBLE ON LAKE ERIE TODAY...



Dangerous ice conditions are possible along the Lake Erie shore

through Saturday evening. Offshore, southwest winds of 15 to 25

knots may cause ice floes to break off from the southern shore.

Anyone caught on the ice when this occurs will be stranded. It is

strongly advised to stay off the ice today.



A notice to mariners, the strong southwest winds will cause ice 

to shift to the northeast and potentially close shipping lanes.
