...WATERSPOUTS POSSIBLE ALONG CHARLESTON COUNTY COAST THROUGH NOON...



Doppler Radar indicates a line of showers and/or thunderstorms

shifting north-northeast across nearshore coastal waters along

and/or off the Charleston County Coast late this morning. This 

line of activity is capable of producing brief waterspouts through

noon today. 



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If waterspouts occur, move your boat away from the waterspout.

Remember that waterspouts can develop rapidly and produce winds

and seas that are dangerous for vessels and everyone onboard.

The National Weather Service in Paducah has extended the



* Flash Flood Warning for...

  Carlisle County in western Kentucky...



* Until 1015 AM CDT.



* At 833 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms 

  producing heavy rain in water is covering Kentucky 307 north of 

  Kentucky 121. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. 

  Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the 

  warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.



  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.



  SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.



  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban

           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as

           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.



* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...

  Bardwell and Arlington.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.
