A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...

At 642 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a line of strong 

thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These 

thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Petit 

Bois Pass to 53 nm south of Farewell Buoy, moving west at 10 knots.



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe

harbor immediately until this activity passes.
