The areas affected include...

  Biscayne Bay...

  Coastal waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL out 20 NM...

  Coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL out 20 

  NM...



At 1224 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable

of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were

located along a line extending from Hillsboro Beach to near Indian

Creek, moving east at 5 knots.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots and locally higher

waves. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms

pass.

  Hawk Channel and Straits of Florida from Craig Key to Halfmoon

  Shoal out 20 nm...

  Gulf of America from west end of Seven Mile Bridge to Halfmoon

  Shoal out to 5 fathoms...



* Until 130 PM EDT.



* At 1254 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Looe Key

  Light. The strong thunderstorm was nearly stationary.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher 

           waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours.



* Locations in the warning include...

  Big Pine Shoal, Big Munson Island, Coupon Bight, Newfound Harbor,

  Looe Key Light, Cooks Island, and Toptree Hammock Key.
