...LOCALLY DENSE FOG ON LAKE ONTARIO FROM NIAGARA RIVER TO 

OLCOTT...



Regional webcams and satellite imagery indicate areas of fog 

extending from the Niagara Peninsula to Lake Ontario this 

morning. Some of this fog is locally dense in spots, with 

visibilities down to a mile or less.



Boaters be prepared for rapid changes in visibility this morning.

The fog is expected to dissipate by mid-morning.

  NM...



At 721 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms, capable of 

producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located 

along a line extending from 31 nm east of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea to 

13 nm east of Surfside to Triumph Reef, moving northwest at 5 knots.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots and locally higher

waves. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms

pass.



Waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on the alert in

case warnings are issued for waterspout development.

The National Weather Service in San Juan has issued a



* Flash Flood Warning for...

  Saint Croix in Virgin Islands...



* Until 1000 AM AST.



* At 745 AM AST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 

  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain 

  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are 

  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 

  to begin shortly.



  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms

           producing flash flooding.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,

           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.



* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...

  Grove Place, Frederiksted South, Christiansted and Frederiksted.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
