* At 436 PM CDT, a shower producing waterspouts was located near

  Offatts Bayou, or 7 nm south of Galveston Pier 21, moving northwest

  at 5 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can create locally hazardous seas.



* Locations impacted include...

  Galveston Causeway, Offatts Bayou, Galveston Ship Channel, and

  northeastern West Bay.

* At 350 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles south of

  Stratton, moving northeast at 40 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 

           to roofs, siding, and trees.
