Areas of dense fog with visibilities 1 NM or less is expected

through 8 AM PDT over coastal waters. Conditions will begin to 

improve after 5 AM PDT for coastal waters out to 10 nm. 

Conditions improving over outer coastal waters after 8 AM PDT.



Mariners should be prepared for abrupt changes in visibility.

Reduce speeds and be on the lookout for exposed rocks and other

vessels, including large ships in shipping lanes. Use radar or GPS

navigation if available, and consider remaining in harbor if such

equipment is unavailable.
