At 237 AM AST, Doppler radar indicated indicated showers as well as developing thunderstorms and isolated thunderstorms capable of producing winds up to 30 knots, frequent lightning, and isolated waterspouts. These were located mainly the Anegada Passage and the Offshore Caribbean Waters moving west and northwest at around 15 to 20 knots. Additional thunderstorms can develop or move over these waters as a tropical wave approaches the area. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, lightning strikes, possible waterspouts and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. $$
