WEST CENTRAL NAPA COUNTY...



The heaviest rain has passed to the east of the Pickett Burn Scar 

and rain rates are now below flash flood criteria. Light rain will 

continue through mid to late morning. Avoid road closures and follow 

guidance from public officials.

The National Weather Service in San Francisco has issued a



* Special Marine Warning for...

  Monterey Bay...

  Coastal Waters from Pigeon Point to Point Pinos California out to 

  10 NM...

  Coastal Waters from Point Pinos to Point Piedras Blancas 

  California out to 10 NM...



* Until 200 AM PST.



* At 126 AM PST, severe thunderstorms capable of producing 

  waterspouts were located along a line from 8 NM north of Santa 

  Cruz Harbor to 8 NM southwest of Soberanes Point, moving east at 

  35 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create

           locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged

           in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Point Pinos, Soberanes Point, Moss Landing, Santa Cruz Harbor and 

  Point Sur.
