* Snow Squall Warning for...

  South central Broadwater County in southwestern Montana...

  Southeastern Meagher County in central Montana...

  Northern Madison County in southwestern Montana...

  Southeastern Jefferson County in southwestern Montana...

  Northern Gallatin County in south central Montana...



* Until 1215 PM MST.



* At 1136 AM MST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line

  extending from 9 miles south of Toston to near Three Forks, moving

  east at 55 mph.



  HAZARD...Whiteout conditions with near zero visibility associated 

           with intense bursts of heavy snow and gusty winds leading 

           to blowing snow. Wind gusts up to 35 mph.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous 

           within minutes.



This includes Interstate 90 between Three Forks and Bozeman Pass.



Locations impacted include...

Three Forks, Manhattan, Logan, Trident, Willow Creek, Menard,

Missouri Headwaters State Park, and Madison Buffalo Jump State Park.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Reduce speed and turn on headlights! During snow squalls, the

visibility may suddenly drop to near zero in whiteout conditions.

At 1140 AM MST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line

extending from 9 miles southeast of Toston to near Three Forks,

moving east at 55 mph.



HAZARD...Whiteout conditions with near zero visibility associated 

         with intense bursts of heavy snow and gusty winds leading 

         to blowing snow. Wind gusts up to 35 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
