  NM...

  Waters from High Island to Freeport TX from 20 to 60 NM...



* Until 600 AM CST.



* At 502 AM CST, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from near Galveston Pier 21 to near Bastrop Bay to 12 nm

  west of Surfside Jetty, moving southeast at 15 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  West Bay, Tabs Buoy B, Galveston 317, Galveston 256, Galveston 344,

  Coastal waters from High Island to Freeport TX out 20 NM...

  Waters from High Island to Freeport TX from 20 to 60 NM...



* Until 600 AM CST.



* At 528 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing 

  waterspouts was located near Galveston 282, or around 9 

  miles south of San Luis Pass, moving east southeast at 15 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 

           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 

           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Galveston 282, Tabs Buoy B, and Galveston 317.
