The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a



* Special Marine Warning for...

  Waters from Mexico Beach to Apalachicola FL from 20 to 60 NM...

  Waters from Suwannee River to Apalachicola FL from 20 to 60 NM...



* Until 430 PM EST/330 PM CST/.



* At 132 PM EST/1232 PM CST/, strong thunderstorms were located along

  a line extending from 12 nm southeast of Empire Mica Wreck to 61 nm

  southwest of C Tower, moving east at 30 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher 

           waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make 

           sure all on board are wearing life jackets.



* Strong thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
