The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a



* Snow Squall Warning for...

  Southeastern Albany County in southeastern Wyoming...

  Southwestern Laramie County in southeastern Wyoming...



* Until 615 PM MST.



* At 521 PM MST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line

  extending from near Federal to Ames Monument, moving east at 30

  mph.



  HAZARD...Flash freeze on roads. Intense bursts of heavy snow. 

           Gusty winds leading to blowing snow and visibility 

           rapidly falling to less than one-quarter mile. Wind gusts 

           up to 70 mph could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

           unsecured objects.



  SOURCE...Radar and webcams.



  IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous 

           within minutes.



This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 319 and

344.

Table Mountain Ranches, Willadsen Estates, Tie City Campground,

Granite Canon, Harriman Heights, Vedauwoo, Tie Siding, Crystal Lake

Reservoir, Pumpkin Vine, Vedauwoo Campground, Buford, North Crow

Campground, Granite Springs Reservoir, Ames Monument, Curt Gowdy

State Park, Pine Grove Estates, Yellow Pine Campground, Granite

Springs Retreat, and Cheyenne Pass.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Wet roadways will quickly freeze. Black ice will cause roads,

bridges, and overpasses to become slick and dangerous. Slow down and

be prepared for a sudden loss of traction.



Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are

expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden

whiteout conditions.

Kauai Windward Waters...



At 249 PM HST, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 32 nm northeast of Kilauea Lighthouse to 24 nm east of

FAD Buoy BB, moving northeast at 25 knots.



HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

         suddenly higher waves.



Strong thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.

Prepare for gusty winds, steep and fast-building seas, and blinding

downpours. Stay low or go below, and make sure all on board are
