...SURGES POSSIBLE IN NORTH FACING HARBORS ON MAUI AND BIG

ISLAND TODAY...



Overlapping north swells, with a dominant component of 4 to 6 

feet from 345 to 010 degrees at 11 to 14 seconds, may produce 

moderate surges in north facing harbors, primarily at Kahului and 

Hilo today. Mariners using these harbors should exercise caution 

when mooring or launching vessels. This swell will slowly decline

into Tuesday.
