...MODERATE TO HEAVY FREEZING SPRAY POSSIBLE...



Cold Arctic air continues to remain over the panhandle while

strong outflow winds persist. With the cold temperatures and

persistent winds, moderate to potentially heavy freezing spray is

possible for the Inner Channels from Sumner Strait northward to

the Icy Strait corridor as well as Lynn Canal. Lynn Canal is

expected to see the most significant potential for freezing spray

but freezing spray is possible for most of the Inner Channels with

the continued cold air in place. Mariners should exercise extreme

caution if attempting to navigate the Inner Channels over the next

several days.
