Gusty south to southeast winds starting this afternoon strengthen to widespread gale force winds over the inner coastal waters by very early Wednesday, with another round of strong winds possible Thursday into Friday. The strong winds will bring dangerous and very steep, choppy seas. The storm will also bring the threat of thunderstorms, some of which could be strong, with locally damaging winds. Conditions are also favorable for isolated waterspouts. Monitor NOAA Weather Radio for the latest information, forecasts, and warnings.
