Pt St George to Cape Mendocino 10 to 60 nm...



* At 608 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms,

  capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail.

  Locally stronger winds are possible. These strong thunderstorms

  were located along a line from 13 NM southwest of Pt. St. George to

  32 NM west of Cape Mendocino, moving northeast at 20 knots.



Locations impacted include...

  Trinidad Head and Crescent City.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or nearest law enforcement

agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service

office.



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor

immediately until these storms pass.
