The nearshore Gulf waters near Galveston remain in a Dense Fog Advisory until noon. Despite the decrease in fog coverage, expect patchy dense fog in Matagorda Bay and Galveston Bay, as well as the nearshore Gulf waters near Matagorda through midday. As of 950AM, areas of dense fog remain near the Houston Ship Channel entrance. We expect fog to be near the channel entrance for another hour or two. $$
