...SURGES IN NORTH FACING HARBORS OF MAUI AND THE BIG ISLAND 

THROUGH TONIGHT...



Overlapping north and northeast swells, with a dominant component

of 4 to 6 feet from 010 to 030 degrees at 10 to 12 seconds, may 

produce moderate surges in north facing harbors through tonight, 

primarily at Kahului and Hilo. Northerly swell energy will trend 

lower after midnight HST. Mariners using these harbors should 

exercise caution when mooring or launching vessels.
