The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a



* Snow Squall Warning for...

  Southeastern Pondera County in north central Montana...

  Central Teton County in north central Montana...



* Until 915 AM MST.



* At 832 AM MST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line

  extending from near Conrad to 10 miles northwest of Choteau to 15

  miles northwest of Augusta, moving east at 25 mph.



  HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to 

           blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than 

           one-quarter mile. Wind gusts greater than 35 mph.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous 

           within minutes.



This includes the following highways...

 Interstate 15 between mile markers 341 and 312.

 Highway 89 between mile markers 57 and 25.



Locations impacted include...

Conrad, Choteau, Dutton, Brady, Collins, Pishkun Reservoir, Bynum,

and Farmington.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are

expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden

whiteout conditions.



Consider avoiding or delaying travel until the snow squall passes

your location. If you must travel, use extra caution and allow extra

time. Rapid changes in visibility and slick road conditions may lead

to accidents.

* Until 915 AM MST.



* At 843 AM MST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line

  extending from 7 miles south of Frenchtown to near Bonner-West

  Riverside along Interstate 90, moving east at 20 mph.



  HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to 

           blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than 

           one-quarter mile. Wind gusts up to 35 mph.

  IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous 

           within minutes.



This includes the following highways...

 Interstate 90 between mile markers 92 and 120.

 Highway 93 N between mile markers 0 and 1.
