Areas of fog are developing over the Gulf while patchier fog has

developed in Matagorda Bay. Fog may already be locally dense in

the bay but not yet widespread enough for a Marine Dense Fog

Advisory. That being said, if it appears fog will become more

widespread, then we may have to issue an advisory for Matagorda

Bay sometime tonight or tomorrow morning. An advisory has already

been issued for the nearshore Gulf waters.
