The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a



* Snow Squall Warning for...

  West central Spokane County in northeastern Washington...



* Until 815 PM PST.



* At 735 PM PST, a dangerous snow squall was located near Medical

  Lake, or near Cheney, moving northeast at 20 mph.



  HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to 

           blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts 

           up to 20 mph.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Dangerous and life-threatening travel conditions are 

           expected to develop rapidly in the warning area.



This includes the following highways...

 Interstate 90 in Washington between mile markers 260 and 281.

 U.S. Highway 195 in Washington between mile markers 88 and 95.



Locations impacted include...

Spokane, Cheney, Airway Heights, Medical Lake, Fairchild AFB, Four

Lakes, Marshall, and Deep Creek.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are

expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden

whiteout conditions.
