  East central Mills County in central Texas...



* Until 130 PM CST.



* At 1236 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles east of

  Goldthwaite, or 25 miles southwest of Hamilton, moving northeast at

  40 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 

           to roofs, siding, and trees.



* This severe thunderstorm will be near...

  Evant around 1250 PM CST.



Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Pancake,

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 PM CST THIS 

AFTERNOON FOR JEFFERSON DAVIS, LAWRENCE, NORTHERN MARION, COVINGTON 

AND NORTHWESTERN LAMAR COUNTIES...



At 1238 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 

heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain 

have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1 inch in 1 hour. 

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the 

warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.



HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,

         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor

         drainage and low-lying areas.

  Collins, Monticello, Prentiss, Sumrall, Mount Olive, Seminary, 

  Bassfield, Silver Creek, Carson, Lone Star, Progress, Bunker Hill, 

  Society Hill, Melba, Clem, Oak Vale, Goss, Improve, Arm and 

  Morgantown.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.
