Areas of sea fog are shown to be returning on coastal webcams as

with visibilities fluctuating between 1 and 6 miles. Visibility 

will tend to decrease at times when winds are not quite as strong,

and these stretches may become more common as the incoming arctic

front draws near. Once the front does arrive at mid-day, winds 

will back to northeasterly then northerly, and put an end to the

fog threat. However, winds will strengthen quickly, and the gusty

winds and building seas referenced in the small craft advisory

text will take center stage. Mariners should consider these 

conditions before beginning or continuing their transits.
