Southeasterly seas of 20 to 25 ft will impact the northern coast from Cape St. Elias east toward the Fairweather grounds. Thursday morning gale force conditions and seas slowly diminish; however, elevated seas and winds continue through the week. For mariners operating in Yakutat Bay, there is potential to see easterly strong gale force conditions build early Wednesday if the low tracks further north than anticipated.
