A line of showers entering the southeast Gulf waters will move east and southeast at near 20 knots across the coastal waters surrounding the Florida Keys over the next few hours. Light to gentle breezes will sharply freshen in the wake of this line as it passes through. Mariners should prepare for fresh to occasionally strong breezes with this initial surge. Additional reinforcing surges will occur through the morning and into the early afternoon ahead of a strong arctic cold front. $$
