The National Weather Service in OXNARD has issued a



* Special Marine Warning for...

  Inner waters from Point Mugu to San Mateo Pt. CA including Santa

  Catalina and Anacapa Islands...



* Until 200 PM PST.



* At 102 PM PST, showers producing waterspouts were located along a 

  line extending from Malibu to near Hermosa Beach, moving north at 

  10 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Law enforcement.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can create locally hazardous seas. Small 

           craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations potentially impacted include...

  Point Dume...

  and Malibu.
