...A SNOW SQUALL WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM MST FOR

SOUTHEASTERN ALBANY COUNTY...



At 400 PM MST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line

extending from near Horse Creek to Hutton Lake, moving southeast at

35 mph.



HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to 

         blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than 

         one-quarter mile. Wind gusts greater than 50 mph could 

         knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous 

         within minutes.



This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 293 and

337.

 

Locations impacted include...

Laramie, West Laramie, Antelope Buttes, Nine Mile, Rogers Canyon,

Boulder Ridge, Bosler, Tie Siding, Pumpkin Vine, Vedauwoo Campground,

North Crow Campground, Ames Monument, Laramie Regional Airport, The

Buttes, Hutton Lake, Yellow Pine Campground, Tie City Campground,

Vedauwoo, Harmony, and University Of Wyoming War Memorial Stadium.

Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are

expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden

whiteout conditions.

* Special Marine Warning for...

  East Santa Barbara Channel from Pt. Conception to Pt. Mugu CA

  including Santa Cruz Island...

  Inner waters from Point Mugu to San Mateo Pt. CA including Santa

  Catalina and Anacapa Islands...

  Outer waters from Santa Cruz Island to San Clemente Island to 60 NM

  offshore including San Nicolas and Santa Barbara Islands...



* Until 415 PM PST.



* At 332 PM PST, severe thunderstorms capable of producing

  waterspouts were located along a line extending from near Rincon

  Point to 18 nm southeast of West Point Santa Cruz Island, moving

  northeast at 35 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 

           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 

           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
