Areas of low clouds and sea fog will persist across the Georgia nearshore waters this evening. The sea fog could become locally dense at times with visibility dropping to 1 NM or less, especially south of Saint Catherines Sound out to 10 NM, including the Altamaha Sound. Mariners in this region should be on the lookout for areas of reduced visibilities. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners are urged to navigate with extreme care. If you must navigate in these conditions, proceed with caution. Use proper fog signals, including fog horns. Make sure all navigational running lights are on.
