Areas of fog are cropping up around coastal waters again late this

evening, particularly around Matagorda Bay. From observations and

webcams, visibility is wildly variable with this fog, but

generally visibility appears in most places to be well above the 1

NM threshold for dense marine fog. However, isolated dense spots

can and will occur embedded within the broader area of less dense

fog. Mariners operating through the night and into the early

morning hours should be prepared to deal with abrupt changes in

visibility, up to and including brief periods of dense fog.
