...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WATERS...



The areas affected include...

  Coastal waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL out 20 

  NM...



At 700 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable

of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were

located along a line extending from 7 nm west of Amelia City to 15 nm

west of Atlantic Beach, moving east at 15 knots.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek

safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
