HONOLULU COUNTY...



The heavy rain has ended over Oahu. Flooding is no longer expected 

to pose a threat. Local area stream levels will remain elevated and 

slowly decline through the evening hours.



A Flood Watch remains in effect until 600 AM HST Saturday for 

Kahoolawe, Lanai, Maui, Molokai, Oahu, and the Big Island.

At 736 PM HST, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts

were located along a line extending from 19 nm north of FAD Buoy N to

10 nm northeast of FAD Buoy P, moving east at 25 knots.



HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 

         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 

         higher winds and suddenly higher waves.



Locations impacted include...

FAD Buoy O, FAD Buoy N, Laau Point, FAD Buoy P, Hale O Lono Harbor,

FAD Buoy CC, and Ilio Point.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Prepare for gusty winds, steep and fast-building seas, and blinding

downpours. Stay low or go below, and make sure all on board are

wearing life jackets.
