FOR SOUTHEASTERN SAN SABA COUNTY...



At 1058 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located  north of  Valley 

Spring, moving east at 35 mph along the southern San Saba county 

line.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.



This severe storm will be near...

  Cherokee around 1105 AM CDT.

  Colorado Bend State Park around 1125 AM CDT.

A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...

  Lake Salvador and Lake Cataouatche...



At 1156 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong

thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and weak

waterspouts. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located 17 nm

south of Kenner, moving east at 15 knots.



Mariners can expect widespread gusty winds to around 30 knots, higher

waves and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe

harbor immediately until this activity passes.



Brief, weak waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on

alert in case warnings are issued for waterspout development.
