The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a



* Special Marine Warning for...

  Coastal waters from Chokoloskee to Bonita Beach FL out 20 NM...

  Coastal waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee FL out 20 NM...



* Until 1115 AM EDT.



* At 1023 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing

  waterspouts were located along a line extending from 6 nm northeast

  of Cape Romano to near D Tower, moving north at 10 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 

           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 

           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Chokoloskee, D Tower, Cape Romano Aquatic Preserve, Cape Romano,

  and Marco Island.
