* Special Marine Warning for...

  Coastal waters from Chokoloskee to Bonita Beach FL out 20 NM...

  Coastal waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee FL out 20 NM...



* Until 1145 AM EDT.



* At 1113 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing

  waterspouts was located 7 nm northeast of D Tower, moving northeast

  at 30 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 

           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 

           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Cape Romano Aquatic Preserve, Cape Romano, and Marco Island.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily

overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor

immediately.

  Waters from Suwannee River to Apalachicola FL from 20 to 60 NM...



* Until 100 PM EDT/noon CDT/.



* At 1128 AM EDT/1028 AM CDT/, strong thunderstorms were located

  along a line extending from 32 nm southeast of V Tower to 25 nm

  south of S Tower, moving northwest at 15 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher 

           waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make 

           sure all on board are wearing life jackets.
