A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...

  Coastal waters from Altamaha Sound to Fernandina Beach FL out 20 

  NM...

  Waters from Altamaha Sound GA to Fernandina Beach FL from 20 to 60 

  NM...



At 313 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and a few 

thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These 

showers and thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 

34 nm south of R2 Tower to 27 nm northeast of Amelia City, moving 

north at 15 knots.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor

immediately until these storms pass.



Waterspouts are possible with this activity. If a waterspout occurs,

move your boat away from it. Waterspouts can develop rapidly and

produce winds and seas that are dangerous for vessels and everyone

onboard.

  Coastal Waters from Cape Elizabeth, ME to Merrimack River, MA out 

  25 NM...

  Waters from Cape Elizabeth ME to Merrimack River MA from 25 to 60 

  NM...



At 348 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable

of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located

10 nm north of Jeffreys Ledge Buoy 44098, moving northeast at 25

knots.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
