* Special Marine Warning for...

  Neuse and Bay Rivers...



* Until 1115 AM EDT.



* At 1012 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing

  waterspouts was located near The Vicinity Of Slocum Creek, or 15 nm

  west of Oriental, moving east at 15 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and small hail.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 

           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 

           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  The Vicinity Of Slocum Creek, The Vicinity Of Hancock Creek, The

  Vicinity Of Clubfoot Creek, Oriental, Mid Point Of Cherry

  Branch-Minnesott Beach Ferry Terminal, and The Vicinity Of Adams
