The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe

limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.

Waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Pensacola FL from 20 to 60

Western Choctawhatchee Bay...



At 319 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts

were located along a line extending from near East Santa Rosa Sound

to 8 nm west of Okaloosa Deep Water Reef to 32 nm southeast of

Oriskany Reef, moving east at 15 knots.



HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 

         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 

         higher winds and suddenly higher waves.



Locations impacted include...

Mary Esther, Navarre Beach, West Choctawhatchee Bay, Fort Walton

Beach, East Santa Rosa Sound, Okaloosa Deep Water Reef, Shalimar,

Fort Walton Liberty Ship Reef, Destin, and East Pass At Destin.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are

expected.



Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily

overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor

immediately.

The areas affected include...

  Coastal waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Mexico Beach 

  out 20 NM...

  Waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Mexico Beach from 20 to 

  60 NM...



At 339 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable

of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were

located along a line extending from near Shalimar to 6 nm southwest

of Okaloosa Deep Water Reef to 47 nm south of Oriskany Reef, moving

east at 15 knots.



Locations impacted include...

Laguna Beach, Sandestin, Miramar Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, and Panama

City Beach.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor

immediately until these storms pass.
