A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...

  Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 0-20 nm...



At 213 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated gusty showers and possibly a 

thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This 

convection was located offshore Brevard county, in particular 10 nm 

east of Indialantic, moving west at 20 knots. These showers will 

produce brief downpours and gusty winds as they push onshore and 

across the intracoastal waters. Occasional lightning strikes are also 

possible.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor

immediately until this storm passes.

The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a



* Flash Flood Warning for...

  The Lee Burn Scar in...

  Central Rio Blanco County in northwestern Colorado...



* Until 245 AM MDT.



* At 1251 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing

  heavy rain over the Lee Burn Scar. Between 0.2 and 0.5 inches of

  rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1

  hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow.

  The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other

  loose materials.



  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing

           flash flooding in and around the Lee Burn Scar.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the

           Lee Burn Scar.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



This is a life threatening situation. Heavy rainfall will cause

extensive and severe flash flooding of creeks...streams...and ditches

in the Lee Burn Scar. Severe debris flows can also be anticipated

across roads. Roads and driveways may be washed away in places. If

you encounter flood waters...climb to safety.



Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the

dangers of flooding.
