* At 842 AM AKDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm,

  capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This strong

  thunderstorm was located 9 NM south of Muir Point, or 19 NM north

  of Point Gustavus, moving north at 40 knots.



Locations impacted include...

  Muir Point, Lone Island and Haines.

Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or nearest law enforcement

agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service

office.



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek
